Charcoal

When I did this series "Dreams" in charcoal, it was a cold February, I had no idea what to do, in a kind of depression which is unusual for me. Ialmost wanted to stop painting, someone suggested I try using charcoal, suddenly I surprised myself, I loved the outcome, the contrast of black & white. My mood lifted, but from that dark mood I created this series.
